Creating Synergy With Professionals

professionalsAnderson Lloyd works with financial, legal and accountancy firms to provide an integrated service to clients.

Anderson Lloyds view is that it is essential in the changing macro and micro economic landscapes to ensure that the client is receiving a quality, integrated and a comprehensive service.
Looking forward successful Ifa, solicitors and accountancy firms are going to have to work together to:

  • Provide an excellent service and client retention.
  • Be compliant in the advice that they are qualified to give
  • Utilise their resources effectively
  • Remain competitive

To do this successfully is not without challenge. To what extent 2 parties work together will depend on each individual business and the way that they like to work. Anderson Lloyds view is The most important aspects of creating such a professional connection is

  • Communication and Getting to know each others businesses and how they operate.
  • Recognising opportunities where synergy between the two businesses can be used to benefit the client and the parties involved
  • Creating a mutually beneficial trusting relationship.

Changes in the IFA landscape

From Dec 2013 qualification and way IFA’s are remunerated will change. Qualification levels will increase and IFA models will move from commission to fee based remuneration.

It is well reported that 1/3 of Financial Advisers will be lost due to the increased level of required qualifications. Anderson Lloyd have already changed their business model to a fee or commission based model. Either way all remuneration is transparent and aligned with the amount of time spent. This in turn has enabled our business model to be aligned with solicitors and accountants. We see the changes in the compliance and educational framework as an opportunity and are ready to use it to our benefit.
